What is Payable Posting ?

Payable Posting is the process of finalizing and recording supplier-related transactions in the accounting system. It ensures that all payable transactions are accurately reflected in financial records and supplier account balances.

Main Sections in Payable Posting

1. Payment Voucher Posting
Payment Voucher Posting is used to finalize payment transactions made to suppliers. Once posted, the payment is officially recorded, and the supplier’s outstanding balance is reduced accordingly.

2. Supplier Debit Note Posting
Supplier Debit Note Posting is used to confirm debit note entries created for suppliers. After posting, the reduced payable amount is updated in the supplier’s account and reflected in the financial records.

3. Supplier Credit Note Posting
Supplier Credit Note Posting is used to finalize credit note transactions. Once posted, the additional payable amount is updated in the supplier’s account, ensuring accurate financial tracking.

How to Create Payable Posting
